Join us for a 2-hour Candlemaking Picnic Sip n' Pour Workshop in Cawston, BC. Our workshops are hosted on our beautiful 10-acre organic apple orchard.

What you'll do:

With views of the Similkameen Valley, you'll learn the basics of candlemaking (perfect for beginners), make your own candle with the support of our lead candlemaking, and enjoy relaxing and soaking in the gorgeous views while connecting with others. 

 

Your ticket includes: 

  • All materials needed for making one 7.5oz candle or 2 3.5oz tins in a scent of your choice
  • A wine pairing for the evening (non-alcoholic options available) 
  • A beautifully decorated picnic space to set the vibe
  • Access to the picnic area up to 30 mins after the scheduled 2 hr event
  • 25% off all other Roshni items at the event

IMPORTANT: 

  • In the case of extreme weather (heatwave, wildfires, rain, etc.), the workshop will be moved to a covered area
  • This is a non-refundable ticket. You can transfer the ticket to someone else by emailing us
  • These are public workshops, see private event booking info below
  • A detailed email will be sent to you with more information after purchase
  • Arrive at least 10 minutes early. We'll begin right on time to ensure candles have enough time to cool.

Materials

All of our candles are hand-poured in small batches made from natural coconut soy wax, phthalate and paraben free fragrances, and natural lead-free cotton wicks. Candle vessels come in metal tin or glass jar options and are perfect to upcycle and repurpose around the home.

Shipping & Returns

We currently ship Canada-wide. We offer flat-rate $13 shipping and all orders $125+ will automatically qualify for free shipping. We offer free local pick-ups from our studio in Cawston, BC and Coquitlam, BC.

All sales are final. If there is an issue with your order (i.e. defective, damaged or if you received the wrong products) please contact us immediately after inspecting the package upon receipt so we can see what happened and see how we can make it right.

Care Instructions

A little care goes a long ways to extend your candles life.

- Trim your wick before each use to 1/4" (5mm) and burn your candle each time until the wax is melted all the way to the edges (approx 2 hours) to avoid tunnelling.

- Avoid power burning your candle (burning for more than 3-4 hrs at a time)

- Never leave your candle unattended and burn on a heat safe surface, away from drafts, and out of reach from children, pets and/or draperies and furniture.

- Stop using your candle when there is 1/2" of wax remaining. Time for restock and upcycle your vessel.

Amazing hostess and fun class

Nav was very welcoming to her orchard setting to learn and make our own candles. The scents were all so amazing and hard to choose which scent to use… of course I had to be against the grain and when I saw her peach oil I knew I wanted to make my own scent. She was helpful with my candle adjustments and allowed me to let my creativity flow! Received my candle back today after the period of time for curing and can’t wait to light it up to smell and enjoy my “fruits” of my labour. Thanks again Nav… highly recommended taking a class!

An Aesthetically Pleasing

My Friends and I attended a Candle Making Session in an Apple Orchard in Cawston , BC hosted by Navjot. She was a delight to be around. She is extremely knowledgeable about her passion and business. She was very helpful and friendly as well. The setting for the workshop is just stunning. We enjoyed local wine, fruit and light snacks during our time there. I would highly recommend this workshop for anyone to attend!! Such a wonderful experience in such a relaxed setting. So much fun!!

Relaxing Time in the Apple Orchard

My friends and I attended a candle making workshop in what I can only describe as a ‘Garden of Eden’ in a lovely apple orchard in Cawston, BC. Navjot guided us through the candle making process and we chose our own scent for our candles from a multitude of summer scents (oil). We enjoyed some wine and light snacks while there and had a relaxing time. Navjot is very knowledgeable about the process and very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend this workshop! Enjoyable relaxing outing!
