Join us for a 2-hour Sip n' Pour picnic candlemaking workshop in Cawston, BC. Our workshops are hosted on a beautiful 10-acre organic apple orchard with a beautifully decorated workshop space.
What you'll do:
With views of the Similkameen Valley, you'll learn about our mission at Roshni Wellness, learn the basics of candlemaking (perfect for beginners), have time to make your very own candle with the support of our lead candlemaker, and ample time to mingle and soak in the gorgeous views and enjoy connecting with others around the table.
Your ticket includes:
- All materials needed for making one 7.5oz candle or 2 3.5oz tins in a scent of your choice
- Access to our lead candlemaker to ask any questions along the way
- A wine pairing for the evening (non-alcoholic options available)
- A beautifully decorated picnic space to set the vibe, always
- Access to the picnic area up to 30 mins after the scheduled 2 hr event
- 25% off all other Roshni items at the event
IMPORTANT:
- In the case of extreme weather (heatwave, wildfires, rain, etc.), the workshop will be moved to a covered area
- This is a non-refundable ticket.You are welcome to transfer the ticket to someone else by emailing us
- Group classes listed here are public dates meaning other people outside of your group will be present. If you'd like a private workshop, see info below
- A detailed email will be sent to you with more information after purchase
- Please aim to arrive at least 10 minutes early to get settled in. The workshop will begin promptly at the scheduled start time to allow enough time for candles to cool
Private Bookings:
We are available to host private workshops both on-location and off-location. These are perfect for any occasion from reunions, girls night, bridal showers, baby showers, birthdays, to cooperate team building activities, or if you are a business that wants to bring your own customers/clients together. We have a skilled facilitator who can weave in whatever you'd like to this workshop offering.
Available to travel throughout the Okanagan + Greater Vancouver Area. Minimum 6 people required, discounts available for 8+ people.

Materials
All of our candles are hand-poured in small batches and are made from natural coconut soy wax, phthalate and paraben free fragrances, and natural lead-free cotton wicks. Candle vessels come in metal tin or glass jar options and are perfect to upcycle and repurpose around the home.

We currently ship Canada-wide. Shipping costs are calculated at check-out and all orders $125+ will automatically qualify for free shipping. We offer free local pick-ups from our studio in Cawston, BC and free deliveries throughout the South Okanagan on all orders over $50.
All sales are final. If there is an issue with your order (i.e. defective, damaged or if you received the wrong products) please contact us immediately after inspecting the package upon receipt so we can see what happened and see how we can make it right.

Care Instructions
A little care goes a long ways to extend your candles life.
- Trim your wick before each use to 1/4" (5mm) and burn your candle each time until the wax is melted all the way to the edges (approx 2 hours) to avoid tunnelling.
- Avoid power burning your candle (burning for more than 3-4 hrs at a time)
- Never leave your candle unattended and burn on a heat safe surface, away from drafts, and out of reach from children, pets and/or draperies and furniture.
- Stop using your candle when there is 1/2" of wax remaining. Time for restock and upcycle your vessel.
